It’s an extension of our Day Training program, structured around your specific goals and delivered in an environment your dog can fully focus in.

Board and Train Prerequisite

Before your dog joins us for Board and Train, we ask for a 3-night campout visit at our Heights facility. It’s how we make sure your dog is comfortable, settled, and ready to focus on the real work ahead. Some dogs adjust quickly, and if that’s the case, we may allow for an earlier pickup. Our live-in groundskeeper is on site day and night, so your dog is always well cared for.

What happens at Day Train.

Every Board and Train program in The Heights, Houston follows the same proven structure, tailored around your dog’s specific needs.

Before Drop-Off

We schedule an intro phone consult to talk through your goals, your dog’s history, and what you want to work on. This is where we align on the plan before training begins.

During the Week

Your dog works through 1:1 customized training sessions, both at our facility and at dog-friendly locations offsite. With your consent, we take them on public field trips to proof their skills in real-world environments. You receive video progress reports throughout the program so you can follow along.

On Weekends

Your dog gets rest and recovery time with structured play and enrichment. Rest is a critical part of training, and we build it into every stay.

After Pickup

We schedule a one-hour Summary Lesson to review your dog’s progress, walk you through what they’ve learned, and outline the next steps in their training journey.

We took our Mini dachsund puppy for training classes and some day care and we will continue to take him for some follow up classes and day care as he matures. Shibas are notorious for being stubborn and I’m so glad that we enrolled our puppy for 20 days of training at Revival! We initially enrolled our puppy at Petsmart but felt that it wasn’t enough training and tools for our smart little guy. Even after your dog comes home from Board and Train, the work continues. Our trainer-approved homework exercises are designed to help you keep reinforcing the behaviors your dog has learned, so the progress holds long after their stay.
